Once a patient clicks unsubscribe in the email they are unsubscribed, you can check this out for yourself.

Log into your DS account
Click on the patients tab
Find the patient by first name or last name
Click on Notification Preferences for that patient
You will see that the individual item they unsubscribed from is now No

IMPORTANT

If the patient receives a newsletter and they unsubscribe they will still get Appt. reminders. It is not a blanket unsubscribe but an Unsubscribe for that feature.

Thank you, I think my patient thought it would be a blanket unsubscribe.

Yes, we were going to do that but then it creates other problems e.g. I want Appt. reminders but I don't want XYZ etc. If they want to unsubscribe from everything you can do that for them in your DS account. If you need help call us 888-771-6074.
