Do patients receive additional text & email if they are

marked are being confirmed in our software? (Eaglesoft) For instance, if a patient receives the text message 5 days in advance and then calls to confirm, we mark it as confirmed in our software. However would the patient still receive the text message the day before?

Yes, they will. The software can be set up to send a save the date anywhere from 7-30 days in advance of the appt. The patient can also receive an appt. reminder anywhere from 1-6 days before their appt. (depending on the way you configured at set up).

Because the save the date goes out at least 7 days and often more than 7 days (depends on your configuration) we still send out the appt. reminder.

Dental Senders does not read your Eaglesoft for confirmed status.

Would the same apply to SoftDent? In other words, if a patient is confirmed in our system, do you still send the confirmation notices?

yes, if the system is set up to send the reminders we will send them regardless what your PMS says. However, if you have the patient in your DS account turned off for reminders they won't receive one.
