Text messages sent in the middle of the night?
We're interested in using the feature that reminds patients a few hours before their appointment. However we dont want our 8 AM patients to get a text at 5 AM that wakes them up. Is there a way to set a default somewhere so that it only text messages people within a range of time? (example: only sending text message between 7 am and 8 pm)

Great question. We built the same day reminders text to only be sent after 7.01AM so we are not the first thing that wakes your patient in the morning. Here’s two examples. We set your same day reminder text messages to go out two hours before the appointment.Belmont wrote:We're interested in using the feature that reminds patients a few hours before their appointment. Sample 1: You have a 8AM appointment.
Our technology reads the database and determines there is an appointment at 8AM thus send text reminder. The reminder is generated BUT in the back-end of the technology we say "if before 7AM disregard and don't send" i.e. your patients that have an 8AM apt. will not get a same day text message reminder.
Sample 2:You have a 11AM appointment.
Our technology reads the database and determines there is an appointment at 11AM thus send text reminder. The reminder is generated BUT in the back-end of the technology we say "if before 7AM disregard and don't send" however this time we see it's 9AM (two hours before the appointment) and it's OK to generate and send the text message.
Hope this helps.
