Eaglesoft and E-mail/Text

In a patient's account in Eaglesoft, there are places to check if a patient receives an e-mail or a text. Does DentalSenders look at these boxes, or will it always send a text message to a mobile number unless it's marked 'No' in the online database? Thanks.

The text box only applies to the Eaglesoft version of Dentalsenders which isn't as good. The email box is used for sending recall emails through Eaglesoft.

Thanks for the info. That would be a nice convenience though, to have it toggle the 'yes' to 'no'. I have some patients who have cell phones but don't want to receive texts. Maybe in a future digital life...
