An appt reminder went out for an appt that was not there

Hi there!

I just received an email confirmation for an appointment that didn't exist in our schedule!

The appointment was removed yesterday, prior to a sync. The reminders for Monday went out today as normal, but this appointment was in the mix somehow, and now the patient confirmed it!

Why did this happen?
I feel like an idiot for having to call her to say sorry, there is an error in our technology here.

Any thoughts?

Matt,

We will call you and review your files. We will get to the bottom of this. The reality is this just doesn't happen. There must be something in the software that triggered this event.
